Each workshop can be structured as a 2 hour, half-day or full day program. The amount of material covered in each session will depend in part on the expertise of the participants. All four programs can be offered to people with no background in bookkeeping, accounting or financial management.
We believe Executive Directors and Boards should be relieved of the minutia of bookkeeping to do the important work of taking good care of the clients entrusted to them. Too often, the day to day demands of record keeping take Directors and even Board members away from focusing on the key mission of running effective programs.
Bookkeeping when done well is a seamless, almost invisible part of agency operations. It manages the financial transactions and provides important data for forecasting future trends and needs. A well maintained set of books also makes for an easy and lower cost audit.
In addition to providing training, Krieger Solutions, LLC can work with your bookkeeper and Treasurer to set up an efficient bookkeeping system that you can run yourself, or we can do the bookkeeping for you.
